Jeremy appeared on the “Awards Chatter” podcast, filmed and recorded at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts for 500 film students.
Highlights of the conversation
“The Bear”
– He thinks there should be a dramedy category for award shows. He said ““I think it’s a dramedy. You have to choose one jeremy allen white when you’re in this in-between space, and I think there should be another category at a certain point. Television has changed so drastically in the last few decades, and the structure of the awards system has remained the same, and that feels strange to me.”
– Fourth Season of The Bear may not be the last
“Springsteen”
– Did not immediately say yes
– Learned to sing and took guitar for six months to prepare
– Loved meeting Bruce, but not when he was on set
His current project is “The Social Reckoning” “more about the effects of Facebook on us.”
