-An intoxicated raccoon was apprehended by Hanover Animal Protection after breaking into the Ashland ABC Store and passing out inside the bathroom.
-The incident was discovered the Saturday after Black Friday after the furry bandit had ransacked several shelves inside the store.
-14 bottles were broken, leaving $250 worth in damages.
-His drinks of choice? Rum, scotch, moonshine, peanut butter whiskey, and eggnog.
-The raccoon was safely released back into the wild after sobering up and showed no signs of injury, “other than maybe a hangover and poor life choices,” the Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter said.
