Repeating at number one, Zach Cregger’s Weapons won the weekend with $25 million. It only fell 43% from its opening weekend, an excellent hold. It has grossed has $89 million domestically and $148 million worldwide in its first two weekends.
Freakier Friday came in second on its second weekend with $14.5 million, earning $54.6 million in North America and $86.3 million worldwide.
Nobody 2 ended up in third place with $9.2 million, ahead of the 2021 original by a few million dollars.
In fourth was The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which pulled in $8.8 million. It’s quickly slowing down at the box office, making $247 million in North America and $468.7 million worldwide after four weekends of release.
Rounding out the top five was The Bad Guys 2, which made $6.9 million. So far, it has made $56 million domestically and $117 million globally.
In news ONTD will love, Sydney Sweeney’s Americana made $500,000 from 1,110 locations, ending up in 16th place. A flop.
